Nicholas Rodriguez Jr.

A Jamestown native, he was born Sept. 15, 1957, a son] of the late Nicholas and Miriam Albizu Rodriguez, Sr.

A graduate of Jamestown High School and Jamestown Community College, Nick was a product specialist for Dominion Voting Systems in Jamestown.

Nick’s deep faith was evident in his active participation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he served as a Catechist and member of the RCIA Team, guiding others in their spiritual journeys.

Beyond his professional and religious commitments, Nick was an avid traveler who enjoyed exploring new places. One of his greatest joys was sharing these adventures with his grandchildren, creating countless cherished memories.

Surviving is his wife, Julie Anderson Rodriguez whom he married August 29, 1981; their two children, Nichole (Jason) Scott of Silver Spring, MD and Dominick (Sarah) Rodriguez of Corry, PA; three grandchildren, Anderson, Harrison and Dawson Rodriguez; and Nick’s four siblings: Evelyn (Myles) Lyons, Jr., Arlene (Albert) Kennedy, Edwin Rodriguez, and Doris (Ronald) Pappalardo; and several nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakewood, with the Rev. Todd Remick, celebrant. Inurnment will be in Lake View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Church, 380 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750, in honor of Nick’s enduring faith and commitment to his community.
