Daniel F. Goldberg

Daniel F. Goldberg

Daniel F. Goldberg, 70, of Panama, passed away Tuesday July 30, 2024, in his home surrounded by loved ones. It was on this date that Daniel was finally taken due to his ongoing battle with cancer. He was born August 21, 1953, in Corry, Pennsylvania, the son of the late John and Marjorie Bemis Goldberg.

Daniel was a 1971 graduate of Panama Central School where he participated on several successful sports teams. Following high school, he became part of his family-owned dairy farm where he devoted 50 years of his life to work and maintain. Prior to retirement Daniel also spent some time working in the engine testing department at Cummins Engine where he established countless friendships and memories. Eventually he was able to travel and managed to visit Alaska. Daniel was very impressed with its sites and adventures.

He was a member of the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club Inc. for many years. Daniel enjoyed nothing more than his outdoor activities of hunting, fishing, and spending time at his camp with family. His family meant the world to him, and it showed in everything he did.

Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years Connie Gillis Goldberg; his son Chad (Kristin) Goldberg of Panama; his daughter Kate (Bryan) Winters of Leroy; his brother John (Tiffany) Goldberg of Panama; five grandchildren: Cora Goldberg, Jase Goldberg, Ann Rose Winters, Daniel Winters, and Paul Winters; two nephews: Garrett (Mackenzie) Goldberg and Dalton Goldberg.

In keeping with Daniel’s wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed at this time. If you do have any wishes to honor Daniel, memorials can be made to Chautauqua Hospice & Palliative Care because of the devoted aid and support they provide.
