Audrey M. TeCulver (Smith)
Audrey M. TeCulver (Smith), 88, went home to meet her Lord and Savior on July 30, 2024, with her children by her side at her residence in Clymer, New York. She was born July 13, 1936, Bear Lake, PA, to the late Ralph and Viola (Lindstrom) Smith formerly of Riverview Florida. Audrey married the love of her life, Henry “Hank” TeCulver and was married for 66 years.
Audrey was employed for a brief time cleaning and opening houses at Chautauqua Institution. Prior to that she stayed at home and dedicated her time raising their children. In her younger years, Audrey was very active in her church where she was a member. She sang in the church choir and dedicated both her and Hank’s every Saturday to cleaning the Lord’s house and readying it for Sunday services.
During harvest time of her beloved’s garden, she stayed busy canning and freezing. Audrey loved to bake and was known especially for her “sweet rolls.” Whenever company would grace their home, she always made sure they would never go home hungry.
Audrey is survived by her five children. Two sons: Wayne (Capri) TeCulver of Clymer, Lynn (Renee) TeCulver of Clymer; Three daughters: Sherry Jengo of Clymer, Sandra (Keith) Beckerink of Clymer and Kimberlee (Brian) Taylor of Jamestown. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three siblings: Dale (Vicki) Smith of Florida, Ellen Jones of South Carolina and Debbie Lopez Smith of Florida.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Henry “Hank” TeCulver: Sibling: Margie Perdue: Grandsons: Matthew TeCulver; Jonathan Jengo.
Visiting hours will be held at North Clymer Community Church on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 between 11:00 am and noon. A service will be held immediately after.
