Scott David Beaver, 51, of Brewton, Alabama and Pensacola, FL., passed away Wednesday (July 17, 2024) unexpectedly in Brewton, Escambia County, AL.

He was born December 30, 1972 in Jamestown, the son of Gael Ann (Westman) Clark of Thomasville, NC and David Beaver of Randolph.

Scott was a graduate of Jamestown High School and played golf for Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. He then went on to serve in the United States Army Reserve, he was currently the owner operator of Phillips Energy in Pensacola, Florida.

In addition to his affectionate and loving charm, Scott loved playing golf, the Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees, and most important to him was family first and the value of lasting friendships.

He is survived by his mother Gael and father David, beloved father of three sons; Caleb (Fiancee Spencer) Beaver of Birmingham, AL, USMC Ethan Beaver and wife Reagan of Cherry Point, NC, Zachary (Fiancee Emma) Beaver of Pensacola, FL., two grandchildren on the way, beloved brother of Aimee Pannutti and husband Anthony of Winston Salem, NC, Gillian Melquist and husband Ryan of Lakewood, NY, and Ryan Beaver and wife Jessica of Jamestown.

He is additionally survived by his cherished Nieces and Nephews, AJ and Ava Pannutti, Zella, Kenley and Maisy Melquist, Awsten, Reagon, Mikael, Jamie and Ryan II Beaver, as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Edward and May Westman, paternal grandparents; Donald and Clarice Beaver, and a beloved niece; Samantha Beaver.

The family invites family and friends for visitation from 3-7 PM on Friday (July 26, 2024) in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 Saturday in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Randolph. The Rev. Donald Watkins will serve as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Jamestown.
