Mary Ann Dahlbeck

She was born Feb. 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lottie Podkulski Gregory.

Mary Ann was a 1962 graduate of Falconer High School.

Before her retirement she worked as a nurse at Jamestown General Hospital and as a home care nurse for several years.

Mary Ann was a member of Healing Word Ministries Church and Healing Rooms Ministries, in which she cared and prayed for many people as she ministered all over Western New York.

She was very loving and caring to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the birds from her back porch and visiting with her many friends.

Surviving is her four children: Joseph (Jody) Ekstrom of Lakewood, Jacqueline Myers of Chautauqua, Jerry (Donna) Ekstrom of Jamestown, Jeffrey (Christine) Ekstrom of Sinclairville; three stepchildren: Cheryl Hogge, Daniel Dahlbeck, Craig Dahlbeck; her grandchildren: Heather Myers, Colin Myers, Sophie, Chloe and Ella, Ekstrom, and Nathaniel, Hannah and Rachel Ekstrom, Jessica Dahlbeck, Chelsie Sanchez, Daniel “DJ” Dahlbeck, Shannon Hogge, Kahlie Dahlbeck; Seven great grandchildren; her siblings: Nancy (Bill) Greenwalt and Rose Miller.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Myron Ekstrom who died 2000; her second husband Darwin F Dahlbeck who died September 24, 2019.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 pm Wednesday July 10, 2024, at the Lind Funeral Home.
