Jeffrey M. FitzPatrick, 60, of Falconer passed away Friday (June 28, 2024) in his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

A lifelong area resident Jeff was born November 10, 1963 in Jamestown, the son of the late Laurence and Anna Baran FitzPatrick.

A proud graduate of Jamestown High School’s Class of 1981, Jeff excelled as a wrestler during his high school years. His athletic prowess and competitive spirit were a source of great pride for him and his family, earning him numerous awards and a record breaking career as the 1st wrestler to accomplish 100 wins.

Professionally, Jeff thrived for many years as a semi-truck driver. Throughout his career at DeBell Vending, Upstate Farms, Brigiotta’s Farmland and Produce, New England Motor Freight, and most recently Crossett, Jeff poured his dedication and passion into his work. He consistently delivered excellence, earning respect and admiration from colleagues for his tireless work ethic and reliability.

Beyond the road, Jeff’s life was enriched by his beloved canine companions, Lily and Daisy. Falconer residents often saw him walking his furry friends. Jeff also held a fondness for Diet Mountain Dew and was known for his enthusiastic recycling habits. A natural handyman, Jeff enjoyed fixing up houses and managing apartment rentals throughout his life. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident in every project he undertook.

Jeff and Amy built a beautiful life together in Falconer, NY. Their home was a haven filled with love, laughter, and countless happy memories. Together, they embarked on many adventures, their spirits forever intertwined. Throughout his life, Jeff exemplified the values of hard work, unwavering love, and a commitment to his community. He leaves an enduring legacy on the countless lives he touched. While his absence will leave a void, the warmth of his spirit and the love he shared will forever be cherished.

Jeff was an active member of the 1st Baptist Church of Falconer. A man of faith, he found solace in his belief and is now reunited with loved ones who predeceased him.

Jeff’s family was a cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He held a special place in his heart for his parents and family and would always give a friendly honk when his routes brought him past their house.

Surviving is his wife Amy L. Cox FitzPatrick whom he married November 11, 2004 in Falconer; two sons: Gabriel FitzPatrick and Zachary FitzPatrick both of Jamestown; two step sons: Ryan (Erin) Adams USMC of Oceanside, CA, Matthew Adams of Jamestown; two brothers: Matthew J. (Becky) FitzPatrick, Christopher L. (Cindy) FitzPatrick of Jamestown; a sister Lori Ann FitzPatrick (Thomas Campbell) of Kennedy and his sister-in-law Shirley FitzPatrick of Maryland. Jeff also leaves behind his two daughters: Amber Hall, Aimee FitzParick and two grandsons: Aiden and Mason FitzPatrick.

Besides his parents Laurence and Anna FitzPatrick Jeff was preceded in death by a brother Mark A. Fitzpatrick on January 24, 2007.

Friends will be received by the family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Falconer First Baptist Church. Rev. Phil Pratt will officiate.
