Donna J. Thomas

A lifetime Sherman resident, she was born March 23, 1944 to Donald F. and Betty (Lyon) Thomas. She graduated from Sherman Central School in 1962.

A lover of nature and animals, especially horses and dogs. She loved walking and being in the woods accompanied by her faithful dog. She enjoyed painting and carving animals.

She had many different jobs over the years, she worked on several local dairy and grape farms, she helped at Centaur Stride with the horses and worked also at Lyon Wood Products.

She was predeceased by her father, Donald F. Thomas serving in WWII 1945, Mother, Betty, Milford Peterson who was like a father to her, Grandparents Carl and Ruth Lyon, Uncle Burchard and Aunt Judith Lyon.

Surviving Uncle Bruce Lyon, Aunt Norma Lyon, numerous cousins, her special dear friend since school days, Nancy Lewis, dear friend Jessie Griswald, Margaret Sears and Vanessa Lutton and her trusty companion Carmel.
