Deborah Marie (Barlett) Town
Deborah Marie (Barlett) Town, 69, of East Randolph passed away Friday (July 19, 2024) at Olean General Hospital with her family side. She lived by the moto “Loved by many and known by few”.
Debbie was born September 29, 1954 in Jamestown, the daughter of Carolyn Marie (Charles) Barlett of Frewsburg and the late Thomas Scott Barlett.
She for the United States Postal Service in East Randolph and Steamburg, as well as the Gail N. Chapman Elementary at Randolph Central School where she was a lunch monitor. In earlier years, Debbie worked at the former East Town Deli and did babysitting for local families.
She was a member of the Ellington Baptist Church. Debbie enjoyed spending time at home with her family, watching Young Sheldon, Gray’s Anatomy and The Big Bang Theory or playing candy crush or tune blast on her phone. She also liked to travel around Amish country and going to the beach to dip her toes in the ocean and she also doing crochet.
She is survived by her mother; Carolyn of Frewsburg, husband; Duane M. “Butch” Town, whom she married on October 28, 1973 in East Randolph, two daughters, Dawn (Jason Hedlund) Brown and Danelle Fischer, all of Randolph, a son; Duane Town Jr. of East Randolph, two sisters, Pamela Smith of Frewsburg and Terry (Norm) Jorenby of Ellington.
She is additionally survived by five grandchildren, Stacie (Cameron) Livermore, Damon Fischer and Morgan Fisher, all of Randolph, Michael Doner of South Dayton and Gibson Town of Salamanca, a great-grandson, Barrett Livermore of Randolph, as well as many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Scott Barlett and a grandson, Brian Donor on March 10, 2016.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM, August 17, 2024, from the Ellington Baptist Church with the Pastor, Rev. Don Moore officiating. Burial/Inurnment will be in the Kennedy Riverside Cemetery.
