David Baglia
David Baglia, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle to many nieces and nephews, passed away on June 30, 2024. He was born in Jamestown, New York on September 18, 1945, to William L. and Barbara C. Arcadipane Baglia.
He was a 1963 graduate of Jamestown High School. In his earlier years, he worked at Automatic Voting Machine before relocating to southern Florida in the late 1960’s. While there, he worked for Operating Engineers, and later the Teamsters Union, from which he retired. He had a great sense of humor, always had a positive attitude, was a good friend to many, and most of all, he loved his family immensely.
Surviving him is his wife Carol A. Baglia, whom he married on May 6, 2006, and was his caregiver. He is also survived by his daughter Tracy Baglia Faircloth and her husband Charles Faircloth, his grandson Tyler Tompkins, his brother William L. Baglia, many nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by both parents, his brothers Joseph R. Baglia and Robert J. Baglia, his sisters-in-law Janet E. Baglia and Francis Baglia, and his granddaughter Kingsley Tompkins.
