Shelly Lynn Holland

She was born in Jamestown, NY on July 27, 1967, to Jeanne Marchiando Long and Richard Holland.

Shelly was a 1984 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School where she was part of the marching band and cheerleading team. She went on to earn a degree from Jamestown Business College.

In her early adult years, she enjoyed participating in local softball and golf leagues. She relocated to the Charlotte, NC area 20 years ago. She loved to cook at home for friends and worked in several restaurants in Charlotte. Shelly had a love for animals and gardening. She was known for taking in whatever stray needed to be rescued. She had a passion for planting and working on her garden.

Surviving are her mother Jeanne Long of Bemus Point, father Richard Holland of Ft. Myers, FL, sister Kari Auer (Hans) of Bemus Point, NY, sister Billie Jean Meyers (John) of Melbourne Beach, FL, sister Kristy Holland of Florida, and brother Kory Holland (Jenny) of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews whom she adored. Shelly was also blessed with a loyal lifelong friend who was like a sister to her, Tracy Miller.

She is preceded in death by her twin brothers Ronald and Richard Holland, brother Gary Holland, stepfather Richard Long, paternal grandparents Lucille and Fred Holland, and maternal grandparents Evelyn Jankoski and Samuel Marchiando.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
