Roland E. “Bud” King

The memorial service for Roland E. “Bud” King, 87, of Memory Garden, formerly of Ellicottville, who died May 18, 2024, will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home where friends will be received for one hour prior to the service.

He attended Sugar Grove High School before joining the US Marine Corps.

He was a member of Steam Fitters Union 22 and worked as a plumber.

Surviving is a sister Beverly Nelson; sister in law Susan King; nieces Deborah (John) Lloyd and Kellie (Jim) Work and his great friend of 50 years Bill Brown.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sons Randall and Jeffrey King; a sister Betty Sanborn; a brother Stewart “Stub” King, Jr; nephews Robert King and Scott Sanborn and niece Amy King.
