Martha J. Trumbull

She was born on May 15, 1950, to the late Merle and Rebecca (Williams) Trumbull in Warren, PA. After graduating from Jamestown Business College, she went on to work in retail, working for years at Hills Dept. Store. Martha was an avid reader, and enjoyed doing cross stitch and playing games. She was also an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her long time companion, Gary LaMar, and a sister Judy Trask.

Martha is survived by her siblings, Terry (Sandy) Trumbull of Warren and Leslie “Skip” (Doris) Trumbull of Russell and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are Marshanne Friend and her son, Conner Friend.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Nelson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 314 North Main St., Youngsville, PA, from 11-12pm at which time a funeral service will be held there with Pastor Rick Hamrick, of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will take place in the Sugar Grove Wesleyan Cemetery.
