Bonnie L. Wickstrom

Bonnie L. Wickstrom, 80, of Falconer passed away Saturday (June 1, 2024) in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing.

A lifelong area resident, she was born November 29, 1943, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Elwyn and Anita Phillips Kent.

Bonnie was a graduate of Gowanda High School and in earlier years was employed by Jamestown General Hospital. Prior to retirement she was employed by Lutheran Social Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

She was a member of the Falconer Fire Department Auxiliary and Garden Club of Randolph. Bonnie was a former member of the Wednesday Night Womens Bowling League in Frewsburg. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren, watching the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, watching college sports, Sop operas and the cooking channel.

Surviving is a son Kevin Wickstrom; two grandchildren: Amanda Wickstrom and Cameron DelValle; three great grandchildren: Alan Wickstrom, Erika, and Ella Bryant; a brother Gary Kent; Six sisters: Peggy Gates-Bellen, Yvonne Kent, Kris Bohon, Denise Myers, Pam Babcock, Diane Kent.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis C. Wickstrom whom she married November 25, 1965, who died Feb. 19, 2003; a daughter Wendy Jo DelValle on Dec. 22, 2018, a son Karl Wickstrom on Dec. 10, 2023, and a brother Scott Kent Mar. 19, 2020

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Pastor Jennifer Delahoy will officiate. Burial will be in Levant Cemetery.

Friends will be received by the family from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
