Jerold Eugene Hulett

After graduating from Clymer High School, Jerold dedicated 28 years to the Town of French Creek and the retired from Maplevale Farms as chief mechanic. He lived his entire life in French Creek, N.Y. where he met and married his beloved wife, Rebecca Smith in 1973. Together, they resided and farmed on Cabbage Hill Road for 47 years.

Jerold was a talented mechanic known for his witty repair tactics. He found joy in competing at fairs in truck pulls, as well as in activities such as golf, billiards and bowling with family and friends. His passion for black powder weapons, including the golf ball cannon, was evident to all who knew him.

Jerold is survived by his wife, Rebecca A. Hulett (Smith), his children: Jeremy E. (Cheri) Hulett, Joshua E. Hulett and Patti, Jennifer E. (Hullet) Farley (Matt), Jessie L. Hulett and Jeb. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Jerold is predeceased by his father Robert, mother Corabell, and brother George.

Visitation will be Friday from 10 am- 12 noon at the Cutting Community Church, where a funeral service will follow at 12 noon.

Jerold Eugene Hulett will be deeply missed by his family, friend, and all those whose lives he touched.
