David G. Stalker

He was born in Detroit, MI on May 7, 1947, the son of the Harold and Ruth (Krause) Porter. He owned and operated Complete Auto Repair Service with his late wife LindaJo in the Buffalo area before moving to Cherry Creek for a total of 50 years.

He was a member of the Cherry Creek Masonic Lodge 384 and enjoyed NASCAR, woodworking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include a daughter, Eva (Bruce) Gadewoltz, of Forestville; three sons Michael Stalker, Sr., of Salamanca; Jason (Rhonda) Stalker, of Irving; Eric (Cindy) Stalker, of Leon; three sisters, Sandra (Kim) Keller, Laurie (Jeff) Passet, Sheryl McFarlane and a brother, Steven Stalker. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren; Ian & Emily Gizowski, Aaron (Elaine) Popielarz, Gabbi & Macadam Gadewoltz, Michael, Alex and Jimmy Stalker, Kacey, Nik and Miranda Stalker and Ryan Jackson, five great grandchildren Myra, Lily, Oaklee, Leah & Maelynn, companion Trudy Metrowka, best friend Bruce White and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife LindaJo (Saylor) Stalker whom he married in March 15, 1966 in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clawson, MI.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Monday April13th, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, from where a Catholic Burial Service will be conducted Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn, officiating. A Masonic Service will be conducted by members of the Cherry CreekMa sonic Lodge Monday evening at 7 o’clock in the funeral home.
