Clinton David “JR” Howie

JR was born on August 24, 1979 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Priscilla Keith Adams and Clinton David Sr. (Lynn) Howie of Jamestown, NY.

JR graduated from Jamestown High School in 1998, he played football, basketball and baseball. Following high school he served in the U.S. Army He earned his associate degree from Edinboro University.

JR worked at Signature Paving, Artone, The Hickory, M&M Gas Station and most recently was employed as a security guard at The Flower Shop Dispensary in Salamanca, NY.

JR was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He was a member of the Celoron Legion and played for their pool league. He enjoyed playing softball. He loved camping and grilling with his family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his dad. Jr. was very involved with his friends kids and was their number one fan. He loved his dogs Buddha and Fritz.

In addition to his mother, JR. is preceded in death by his sister: Mona Taylor (1998) and his grandparents: Paul and Gloria Naeder.

JR is survived by his father: Clinton David Sr. (Lynn) Howie of Jamestown, NY; his sister: Danielle Howie of Jamestown, NY; his son: Jack Breen and his mother Heather O’Connor both of Jamestown, NY; nieces: Jasmine, Delisa and Keyanna; his nephew: Kaden; his aunt: Kathleen Madison of Jamestown, NY; close friends: Clevon, Blake, Maceo, Alfie, Umar and Joe and many cousins and close friends.

Family and friends may call on Thursday 5-7 PM at Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, 316 E. 5th Street, Jamestown, NY. A time of sharing will be held at 7 PM, Burial will be Lake View Cemetery, Jamestown, NY
