Alvin Reynolds Jr.
Alvin Victor Reynolds Jr., 67, of Chapmansboro, TN, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Steamburg, (town of Coldspring), with his family and friends at his side, while under the care of Hospice.
He was born July 1, 1956 in Kane, Pennsylvania, son of the late Alvin Victor Reynolds and Imogene “Jean” (Hannold) Trivez.
He was a graduate of Randolph Central School and received his Bachelor’s in Science from the University of Tennessee. Alvin retired after 40 years of service with Mastec, Inc. A global Fiber Optics and Installation Communications Company.
He enjoyed spending time with family. He loved fishing, hiking, kayaking and running. He was also a talented photographer.
He is survived by his four sons Jason Reynolds of Mechanicsville, Va., Brandon Reynolds of Jamestown, Alan Reynolds of Randolph, and Steven Reynolds of Cherry Creek; seven grandchildren, Riley, Avery, Layla, Christopher, Owen, Noah and Gwen, two sisters, Annette “Annie” Reynolds of Greenhurst, and Brenda Reynolds of Randolph; and a brother George Reynolds of Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Reynolds and Jean Trivez, and a brother; Glenn Reynolds.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-5 PM, June 8 from the Coldspring Fire Hall in Steamburg, NY. He will be laid to rest alongside his mother Jean Trivez in the Randolph Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Howie VanRensselaer at VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, Randolph.
