Sylvia M. Chiazzese

A lifelong area resident she was born October 30, 1952 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Louis C. and Loretta Buccola Chiazzese.

Sylvia was a 1971 graduate of Falconer High School and a graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Prior to retirement she was employed by the former Lakeshore Hospital in Silver Creek, NY.

Sylvia enjoyed spending time with her family and taking car rides.

Surviving are cousins: Joseph (Stephanie) Buccola, Lory (Amy) Buccola, Marie Caruso, Ann Kestler and her close friends Doug and Sue Seamans.

She was preceded in death by her father Louis Chiazzese on Dec. 5, 1991, her mother Loretta Chiazzese on Jan. 28, 2008, her sister Louise Chiazzese on May 10, 2022, her Aunts Mary & Teresa Buccola, and Uncle Lory Buccola.

A private memorial service will be held in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Falconer. Rev. Timothy J. Hoyer will officiate. Inurnment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Visitation will not be observed.
