Mary C. Miraglia

She was born May 8, 1931, in Michigan, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Gertrude New Gleason.

She grew up in Warren, PA and was a 1949 graduate of Warren High School and went on to earn certification as a licensed practical nurse.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Fenton Park Nursing Home and earlier had worked for Jamestown General Hospital.

She was a member of TOPS, Marvin Community House Remocwen Club and bowled in a league.

Surviving are four children Peter (Melissa) Miraglia, Patricia (Curtis) Barnes, and Daniel Miraglia all of Jamestown and Beth (John) Rieser of Falconer; grandchildren Amanda Lilley of Jamestown, Megen (JC) Quirin of Saratoga, NY, Miranda Petuzzi of Clearfield, PA, Michael (Nicole) Miraglia of Ridgeway, PA, and Steven (Leslie) Miraglia of Albany; a great granddaughter and two sisters Frances Birchard of Erie and Nancy Colera of San Diego, CA.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Rocco Miraglia, whom she married November 14, 1953, and who died March 12, 2018, and siblings Walter, Bruce, Ted, and John Gleason and Rose Font and Jane Ricotta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Warren.

Friends will be received from 9-10:30 am Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home.
