Joyce L. Marucci

Joyce was born October 26, 1964 in Jamestown to the late Francis and Joyce (Steele) Migliore Sr. She was a 1982 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown Community College. She worked for the WCA Hospital laboratory for more than 25 years.

She is survived by her children Jessica (Kevin) Stearns, James “JT” (Sandra Gardner) Marucci and Jerrica (Jeffrey Daniels) Marucci, her beloved grandsons Brody Gardner, Mason and Leo Stearns, as well as her younger brothers Francis “Frank” (Linnea) Migliore and Kerry Migliore. She is preceded in death by her parents and life partner Robert Cortright.

Joyce was a proud mother to her three beautiful, strong and loving children. In her early years she enjoyed jumping in her car with the music playing; she would pick a direction and just drive. She enjoyed rock music and anyone that knew her, knew she loved the band KISS the most. She was also passionate about photography, gardening and being an animal lover, there was always room for one more kitten. Most of all she adored her dog Jersey. Joyce will be remembered as a beautiful, endearing and always comical friend to all who loved her.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday April 13, 2024 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Falconer Funeral home, with a prayer service at 12:30 led by Father Todd Remick. Inurnment will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery immediately after. Concluding with a lunch memorial at 2:30 at the Falconer Exempt Fireman Hall.
