Terry L. Carlson

A lifelong area resident he was born December 12, 1959 in Jamestown, the son of the late Vern Carlson and Jean E. Carlson.

Terry was a graduate of Southwestern High School and in earlier years he was employed by Falconer Plate Glass. Prior to retirement he was employed by Jamestown Public Schools as Head Custodian retiring in 2022.

Terry enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, nephews and friends. He enjoyed playing fantasy football, especially figuring out what players he would start week to week.

Surviving is his brother Steven Carlson of Jamestown, three nieces: Shannon (Scott) VanNorman, Ashley (Chris) Awiszus, Danielle (Bill) Hawley; a nephew: Andrew (Amber) Carlson; nine grandnieces, grandnephews: Camron and Ava Awiszus, Abby, Alexis and Annie VanNorman, Liam and Carter Hawley, Zola and Mia Carlson; his aunt Patricia (Bucky) Cusimano.

He was preceded in death by his mother Jean Carlson in 1996; his father Vern Carlson in 2006, his maternal grandparents Clifford and Julia Carlson and paternal grandparents Edwin and Lorraine Carlson.

The funeral will be Monday, April 1, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Groh will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
