Paulette J. “Polly” Joslyn

A lifelong area resident she was born January 10, 1949 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late A. Lloyd and Cora Weiler Powell.

Polly was a 1969 graduate of Falconer High School and prior to retirement was employed by the United Methodist Church District Offices.

She was a member of the Bemus Point United Methodist Church and was a coordinator at Royal Family Kids Camp at Camp Findley Lake.

Surviving are her three children: Kevin Joslyn of Celoron, Sarah(Richard) Rosier of Sinclairville, Rebekah Joslyn of Bemus Point; daughter-in-law Sherry Joslyn; 11 grandchildren: Ryan Joslyn, Brandon Lewis, Ricky Rosier, Gavin Rosier, Noah Rosier, Kaleb Rosier, Landon Rosier, Justice Joslyn, Cheyenne Joslyn, Dakota Joslyn, Ayla Joslyn, 11 great grandchildren; three brothers: Thomas Powell, Nathan (Amy) Powell, Raymond (Janet) Powell; a sister Karen (Dan) Schroder and a sister-in-law Sarene Powell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel R. Joslyn whom she married Nov. 20, 1971, who died June 1, 1990 and a brother Wayne Powell.

The funeral will be at 12 p.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Herdzik will officiate.

Friends will be received by the family from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
