Floyd D. “Hagen” Boardman

Floyd D. “Hagen” Boardman, Jr., 52, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 22, 2024, at home.

A lifelong area resident he was born November 13, 1971, to Floyd D. “Scoop” Boardman, Sr. and Deanna M. Boardman.

Hagen leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Samantha Boardman. Together they built an amazing life. He leaves behind his children Chelsey Boardman (James Bradley), Dillon Titus (Rachael Short), Shannon Boardman, and niece like a daughter Candi (Bo) George. He was a proud grandpa to Jaxon, Adelynn, Carter, Jack, Knox, Kamaleigh, Xander, Hannah and Cody; nephews Zach Myers and Steven Biggers; and dearest friend Eric “Brat” Wall. Hagen also leaves behind a brother, Tracy (Teresa) Harvey, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him often.

Hagen was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew Jason DeGolier.

Hagen was self-employed owning and operating B&B Logging. He enjoyed working in the woods. He enjoyed hunting and created many wonderful memories hunting with family and friends. Hagen was quick-witted and was good at making anyone laugh. He generously helped all in need and always enjoyed lending a hand. His friends became family. He was a blessing to this world. He will be missed by all, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 26th from 4pm to 8pm., and one hour prior to the memorial service Wednesday in the Falconer Funeral Home.

A memorial service will take place Wednesday, March 27th at 11am in the funeral home.
