Sandra K. Morando passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024.
Sandy was a kindhearted, loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. Her kindness and understanding were extended to all, and she opened the door to our family home to anyone who needed a place to stay. She was a good friend to everyone she knew. Sandy loved animals very much and rescued many dogs, cats, and any animal in need over the years.
After raising her children, Sandy found great joy working as an Activity Coordinator at Tanglewood Manor. She also enjoyed spending as much time as possible with her granddaughter, Zoe. Sandy retired to Delray Beach, Florida.
Sandy leaves behind her sons Robert and Michael Morando, daughter Kristina Morando-Stewart, and granddaughter, Zoe McPherson who she loved dearly.
Sandy also leaves behind her ex-husband Charles Morando who remained her dear friend.
We would like Sandy to be remembered as someone who was light-hearted, fun, creative and most of all kind-hearted.
There will be a celebration of Sandy's life in July with details to follow in the upcoming months.
