Julia (Judy) Weisbrod 83, formerly of Jamestown NY, passed away peacefully in her home in Largo FL on Monday January 29, 2024.
Julia was born in Littleton, NH to Mary Helen and Robert Leo Hamilton on January 8, 1941. She was one of 13 children.
She worked as a waitress most of her life, during which time she made many wonderful friends. She always looked forward to seeing her friends Irene and Chris whenever she could make it home.
She was an active member of the Salvation Army Church in Clearwater FL and was always so proud to take her children and grandchildren there to meet her church family. She had a card ministry that blessed so many people.
She found her great passion, though, when she received her diploma from Morton Plant Mease Clown College in Clearwater FL. She became "Bubbles" and volunteered her time at hospitals and events. She truly lived up to her "Bubbles" persona, she was bubbly, fun, loving, and brought smiles to so many faces.
She was an AVID Tampa Bay Rays fan. She went to most every game with her friend Mary Blackmon and sometimes her husband, Wes, would go too.
She loved God, her family, her friends, and she loved snow. Making sure to come home for a few weeks in the winter also, just so she could play in it.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Wesley Weisbrod, her children, David (Mary) Nickerson, Jane (Dan) Benson, Allan Nickerson, Andy Nickerson (Laurie), and Tricia Weisbrod (Mike)
She is also survived by her brother Bobby, and her sisters, Nancy, Bobbett, Romona, Annett, and Paulett and many nieces and nephews.
She was proud grandma of her 8 grandchildren, Cherish Bisher, Kevin, Michael, Joshua, and Drew Nickerson, Leo Braswell, Jill Ortel, and Lisa Carlson. She has 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her son Paul Nickerson and infant son Michael Hamilton, her brothers; Sonny, Billy, Tinker, Eddie, and Jimmy, and her sister Ruthie.

A celebration of her life will be held March 16, 2024 at 11:00 am at Real Life Church, 556 E 2nd St, Jamestown, NY with Pastor Tim Smart officiating.
