Elizabeth Ann (Mott) Wares
Randolph, NY -Elizabeth Ann (Mott) Wares, 84, of Hall Street, Randolph, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024) at the UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.
She was born January 30, 1940 in Olean, NY, the daughter of the late Clarence Herald and Esther Ellen (Bass) Mott.
In addition to being a home maker, Elizabeth was a baker for Albertsons Bakery in Keller, Texas.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and making her garden grow.
She is survived by two sons; Chester B. Wares III and wife Shelly of Breezy Point, MN, Bradley A. Wares and wife Jan of North Lake, TX., two daughters; Leesa L. Bousum of Randolph and Lucinda L. Wares of Lantana FL., seventeen grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and siblings; Kathy Luzzie, Linda Housted, Kurt Mott and Marsha Schmidt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester B. Wares Jr., whom she married on January 26, 1957 and siblings, June Hare, Richard Mott, Gerry Mott and Steven Mott.
The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday (February 6, 2024) in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, from where funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Mike Herdzik will officiate. Burial will be in the EastRandolph Cemetery.
