Virginia “Ginny” A. Semo

A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born February 22, 1920, a daughter of the late Thomas and Constance Ndiro Andrews.

She was a graduate of Jamestown High School.

She was a longtime devoted member of St. Elia Albanian Orthodox Church where she served in many ministries including singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school.

She was employed by Glatz Agency prior to an extended retirement spent cooking, playing cards, shopping, and cherishing her beloved nieces and nephews, several of whom are great-great-greats.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Semo, whom she married June 9, 1940; brothers George, Chris, William, Louis and Andrew Andrews; and sisters Helen Kote and Sylvia Jamo.

The funeral will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Elia Albanian Orthodox Church.

Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
