Timothy C. “Timmer” Slade

Randolph- Timothy C. “Timmer” Slade, 71, of Main Street, Randolph, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at UPMC- Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.

He was born July 24, 1952 in Cuba, New York, the son of the late Herman Slade and Nine Ernestine Crandall Slade.

He was a 1970 graduate of Randolph Central School and retired from his Dairy Farm and Logging Business, he had also worked many jobs over the years, including, Adams and Peterson Dairy Farm’s, Macadam Gravel (JMI), “The Best” Car Detailer at Sikes Auto Sales in Kennedy and Kennedy Meat Market in Randolph, where he was a Butcher/Meat Cutter.

Timmer was known as a big man who loved his little dogs, enjoyed NASCAR, playing darts, cards (Especially Solitaire) and watching the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins (so this was a tough week to pass away) He will be missed by his many friends (Pete’s Place)

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 30 plus years, Michele Kristie (Ramsey) Slade, whom he married in 2001, two sons; Mark Slade of Jamestown and Scott Slade of Falconer, a many grandchildren, a brother, Terry Slade of Randolph and a sister-in-law, Jeanne L. (Baker) Slade.

He was preceded in death by his father Herman Slade, sister, Nancy Peterson in 1983, a brother Teddy Slade in 2021 and step-father Alan Slade.

As per Timmer’s wishes, there will be no services held. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph.
