Patrick David Videll

Patrick David Videll, 56, of 557 W. Eugenie St., Chicago, IL 60614, died Tuesday, December 26, 2023, after a courageous health battle, at Illinois Masonic Hospital, Chicago, IL.

He was born on September 24, 1967 at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, NY, a son of David C. and Mary Lynne (Gaeta) Videll, and the husband of Michele L. Zucker, whom he married September 3, 2000.

Patrick was a 1986 graduate of Jamestown High School. He received his Associate’s Degree from Jamestown Community College, his Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Buffalo and Master’s Degree from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. While at Jamestown Community College, Patrick was in an exchange student program in Sweden. He loved his time there, which included his studies and spending time with his Swedish family and godmother, Antoinette Gaeta Olander. He was a self-employed business consultant. He was very proud of his life and family, especially his son. Matthew.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Michele L. Zucker, their son, Matthew Eric Videll, and his four-legged “daughter,” LuLu. He is also survived by his parents, David C. and Mary Lynne (Gaeta) Videll, his brothers, Scott A. (Deidra J. Lucks) Videll of Crestwood, KY, and John C. Videll of Chicago, IL, his niece and nephew, Giana M. and Liam S. Videll, of Crestwood, KY, as well as his uncle, Ronald J. Gaeta of Elmira, NY and cousins Heather J. (Tom) Sedlock of Endicott, NY and Jessica D. (Scott) Stratton of Ithaca, NY. He is also survived by family in Sweden, Australia and the United States.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Dominic V. and Anne F. (Scheira) Gaeta and Ragnar C. and Marguerite (Waldron) Videll, and his uncle, Dennis C. Videll of Everett, WA.

At Patrick’s request, a “Celebration of Life” will be held at a date and time to be announced.
