Jack Gambino

Jack was born on February 13, 1942, in Westfield to Salvatore “Sam” and Sara Gambino. He was the youngest of 6 children.

Nicknamed “Grasshopper’ for his ability to work a room, Jack was beloved wherever you may have found him. A passionate sports fan, Jack loved the NY Yankees, Buffalo Bills, LA Lakers and NASCAR. But what he loved most was his family. Jack retired from Mogen David Wine Co. in 1998 after 33 years of employment. He spent his retired years taking walks with his wife, enjoying coffee and a chat with friends, and finding any and all ways of spoiling his grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Susanne Gambino, a sister, Patricia Barber, his oldest son Michael Gambino and his wife Trudy, and his youngest son David Gambino and his wife Jacquelyn. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Family, friends and others whose lives Jack may have touched are invited to the Morse Funeral Home in Brocton NY on Friday, February 2nd from 2-4pm.

Inurnment will be in Westfield Portland Union Cemetery
