Darlene Delores (Boutelle) Congdon

Devoted wife of 41 years to James Congdon whom she married December 18, 1982. They moved from Forestville, NY to South Carolina to be closer to their daughter.

Darelene was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School. She was an Avon representative for many years, also working at Dunkin Donuts and the University of SC until her major strokes.

She enjoyed going to flea markets, Mickey Mouse and USC Gamecock football. She was also a member of the moose for several years.

She is survived by her husband James Congdon in SC, her daughter Briana (Isaiah) Loveless, grandchildren Nikolas and Keith Simpson of Utah. Sister Barbara Boutelle of Jamestown, brothers Alton R (JoTina) Boutelle, and Calvin (Linda) Boutelle, brother in law Scott Williams, nieces and nephews, Jason (Azmi) Atkins of NJ, Jamie (Jill) Gilbert of Falconer, Alex (Leesa) Boutelle of NV, Stacey (Charles) Haluska of Jamestown, Dennis TeCulver of Erie, PA, Kurtis Boutelle of Jamestown and Christopher (Madeline) Boutelle of Lakewood, NY and also several great niece’s and nephews and one great-great niece and a great-great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Nina Williams.

Funeral arrangements will be handled by Thompson Funeral Home in Lexington, SC where she will be cremated.
