Carol M. Johnson
Carol M. Johnson, of Lakewood and formerly of Bemus Point, passed away Friday Jan. 19, 2024, at Heritage Green Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.
She was born Nov. 30, 1927, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Gust E and Hilda Anderson Johnson.
Carol was a 1946 graduate of Jamestown High School. Following high school, she was employed at the Credit Bureau of Jamestown for 45 years until she retired in 1991.
She was a member of the Bemus Point United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving is her two sisters Elaine V. Johnson whom she made her home, Dorothy (Gary) Johnson of Beavercreek, Ohio; two nieces Kristen A. Johnson of Centerville, OH, and Rachel (Christopher) Walker of Springboro, OH; nephew Evan (Sarah) Johnson of Union, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1969, her mother in 1993 and her brother Donald W. Johnson in 1997.
Visitation will not be observed. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday Jan. 26, in the Lake View Cemetery.
