Nancy Burr Archer

Nancy was born December 21, 1936, in Steamburg (Town of Coldspring), the daughter of the late Leland “Pete” Burr and Velma Boardman Burr.

Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Randolph Central School and a graduate of Doyle Beauty School. She was a member of East Randolph United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three of her children: a daughter Cynthia (Robert Barnhill) Archer of Cardiff, CA; a son Greg (Ellie) Archer of North Myrtle Beach, SC; and a daughter Nanette (Chad) Skudlarek of Randolph, NY; nine grandchildren (Jeremy, Jessica, Johnah, Kurtis, Kari, Heather, Samantha, Jacob, and Kelsey) and thirteen greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her seven sisters; Joanne Luce of Jamestown, NY; her twin Carol Hiller of Winter Haven, FL, Patricia Gilbert of Anaheim Hills, CA; Louise Seiler of El Cajon, CA; Sandi Carr of Queen Creek, AZ; Juanita Brooks of Randolph, NY; and Maureen Thornock of Lordsburg, NM.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Herbert B. Archer, on August 4, 2020; and a son, Gary Archer, on February 28, 2016.

As per Nancy’s wishes, there will be no services held at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Steamburg Cemetery.
