JAMESTOWN, NY –Sue M. Schinzel age 91 formerly of Cattaraugus and Gowanda passed away Saturday evening September 9, 2023 at the University of Pittsburg Medical Center Hamot in Erie, Pa.
Born in Busti, NY April 17, 1932 the daughter of Theodore and Anna ( Moon) Crandall.
Survivors include children; Steven (Tess Bates) Schinzel of Cattaraugus, Sandra( Robert) McDaniel of Fla. , Linda ( Wayne) Westfall of Cattaraugus, Patti ( Dennis) Platko of Pa., Sherry Cavanaugh, of Cattaraugus, Gretchen ( Kevin ) Walker of North Otto , Peggy Jo (Daniel) Hatfield of Pa.and the late Karen S. Delahoy and Michael J. Schinzel. Sue is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren a great-great-grandchild along with several nieces and nephews . Sue ‘s siblings that survive include Joyce Gillis of NC, Bonnie Lord of Jamestown and Sally (David) Arthur of NC .
Besides her parents, daughter and son Sue was preceded in death by a brother David Crandall.
A graveside service will be held Saturday September 23, 2023 at 11:30am at the Liberty Park Cemetery in Cattaraugus .(please assemble at the second tier of the cemetery )
Arrangements are by the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda.
