Janet (Gustafson) Lee

Janet is survived by her son Andrew Lee (spouse Laura Lee) of Oviedo, Florida and her daughter, Jennifer (Lee) Byrne (spouse Kevin Byrne) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Amanda and Hannah Lee, Tyler, Zachary, Harrison and Parker Byrne, and a brother, Charles Gustafson of McLean, Virginia.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Archie Lee Jr. of Casselberry, Florida, her mother Alice Gustafson of Jamestown, New York, and her father C. Harold Gustafson of Jamestown, New York.

Janet was born on May 5, 1946, in Wheeling, West Virginia. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1964 and worked in Banking and Finance at Marine Midland Bank as well at Bank of America for 50 plus years.

Janet met the love of her life, Archie Lee Jr. while he was serving in the U.S. Navy and they married on December 23, 1967 and remained married until his passing in September of 2022.

Janet was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be extremely missed by all who loved her. As per Janet’s wishes, she will be buried alongside her husband, Archie at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Date and time TBD.
