Barbara J. “GG” Guiffreda
Barbara J. “GG” Guiffreda, 74, of Kiantone, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA, surrounded by her children and niece, Tracy.
She was born on August 14, 1949 in Warren, PA, a daughter of the late Glenn and Florence Benson Swanson.
She attended Jamestown High School. For many years, she co-owned and operated Quality Rebuilders in Jamestown along with her former husband, and also worked at JNK and Weber Knapp Co. prior to retirement.
She spent much of her time with family and friends who all meant the world to her. She loved helping others and never hesitated to do so. She had many interests including welding and woodworking.
Barb is survived by her daughter Tammy (Dave) Anderson; her son Christopher (Rachael) Guiffreda; three grandchildren: Gunnar Anderson, Nico Guiffreda, Gia Guiffreda; her siblings: Gloria Shulenberger, Steve (Judy) Swanson, Donna Jambliter; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Greene.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
