Richard C. Query

Loving Husband of 45 years to the late Joyce Ann Query; Cherished Father of Lynn (Ben) Williams and James (Jen) Query; Devoted Poppy of Grace, Emmett, and Susanna Query and Paige Williams; Brother to Ann (Art) Phillips and Son of the late William and Joyce Query.

Richard was a graduate of Plum High School. He spent the majority of his career working at Gulf Oil and the University of Pittsburgh where he earned his B.S. in Chemistry while working full-time and raising 2 young kids with his loving wife Joyce.

Those fortunate enough to have known Richard would agree that he was a most remarkable man with a love for sharing knowledge and always willing to offer a helping hand. To his family, he was a devoted husband and father filled with unconditional and boundless love for his wife and children. He dedicated his life to working tirelessly to provide a better future for his loved ones, always thinking of their needs before his own.

Richard was man of science in constant pursuit of learning new things. He loved sharing his knowledge of the world with those around him through countless stories both humorous and fascinating. He loved being close to nature and strongly believed this world would be a better place with less technology and a stronger connection to the world around us. He was an avid conservationist who went to extreme lengths to minimize his impact on our planet.

More than anything in life, Richard loved his wife Joyce with all his heart so we take comfort knowing they are reunited once again. He will be dearly missed.

Arrangements by BEINHAUERS, 412-531- 4000. Family and Friends are welcome at 2630 W. Liberty Ave. Dormont on Saturday, August 12th from 3-5 PM, where a celebration of life ceremony will begin at 5pm.
