Tonawanda – Tasha L. Crouse, 39, of Tonawanda, passed away Wednesday June 7, 2023 at her home.
She was born on July 7, 1983 in Jamestown, daughter of the former Sherri Hutchison (Art Johnson) of Panama, who survive, and the late Stephen Crouse.
Tasha was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation, Turtle Clan. She shared many loving years with her partner, Keith Gurecki, of Tonawanda who survives.
For many years she worked at both the Niagara Fallsview Casino and Seneca Allegany Casino and later worked retail at the Niagara Falls Outlets. She loved animals, especially her own dog Roxy, and enjoyed dog sitting. She and Keith enjoyed music and attending concerts together, as well as the outdoors; they would go on walks and enjoyed being active.
Besides her parents and partner, Tasha is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by Keith's family, his parents Joseph (Paula) Gurecki of Tonawanda, and his brother, Bradley Gurecki.
Besides her birth father, Tasha is predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 4-7 pm as well as Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10 am to 11 am from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 11 am from the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery in Steamburg.
