Hildegarde Helen Fischer- Rauh

Lakewood, NY- Hildegarde Helen Fischer- Rauh., 84, of, Grandview Avenue, Lakewood and Bonita Springs, FL., passed away Monday (June 19, 2023) at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa.

She was born December 4, 1938 Williamsville, NY, the daughter of the late Albert J. and Mary (Codd) Fischer.

Hildegarde was a graduate of Williamsville High School and the former Rosary Hill College (Damien College) with a Bachelors in Science, she was also a chapter member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority.

Prior to retirement, she was executive secretary and shareholder of Kingsview Enterprises in Lakewood, NY. In earlier years, she worked as a Medical Technologist for Mercy Hospital and for her father and brothers at Amherst Builders in Buffalo.

Mrs. Fischer-Rauh was a Communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lakewood. A women of devout faith, she loved her family dearly and spending time with her family and friends was paramount to her daily life. She was a member of the Moon Brook Country Club in Jamestown and Shadow Wood Country Club in Bonita Springs, Fla.

She is survived by three sons; John F. (Megan) Rauh of Ashville, NY, James (Stacy) Rauh of Lakewood, NY, Robert A. (Vicki) Rauh of Bemus Point, NY, three daughters; Mary (Jeffrey) Castle of Bemus Point, NY, Bridget (Karen Schoppe) Rauh of Frewsburg, NY, Deborah (Patrick) Kelly of Charlotte, NC, He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; Jeanne (Nelson), John, Hannah (Lenart), Elizabeth (Martin), Robert Jr., Christina (Borowski), Nicole, James, Jenna (Whitney), Sara (Jacobson), Anna, Bert, Connor, David, Elysa, Michael, Alexandra Joseph, and Ryan and fourteen great grandchildren; Rory, Brynn, John F., Hartley, Hayden, Robbie, Jay, Victoria, Tori, Brody, Tate, Isabele, Owen and Jolie. .

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R Rauh Sr, who preceded her in death on January 16, 2023, a sister, Mary Meek and five brothers, Albert, Victor, John, James and Robert Fischer. .

The family will receive family and friends at the family home (50 Grandview Ave, Lakewood, NY) from 4- 7 PM Friday, June 23, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2023 from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 380 East Fairmont Avenue e, Lakewood. The Rev. Donald Watkins will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Jamestown.
