Marilyn I. (Blood) Conklin

Marilyn I. (Blood) Conklin, 80, of Orchard Grove, Southwestern Drive, Jamestown, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at UPMC- Chautauqua Hospital in Jamestown.

She was born November 28, 1942 in the Town of Coldspring, the daughter of the late Clifford and Eva L. (Horton) Blood.

Marilyn attended Randolph Central School and was a Home Maker. She was self- employed and primarily worked for Jack and Carolyn Nord, Dr. Anthony Barone and Charles Barone, ESQ.

She married Arthur George Conklin on April 26, 1969 and who preceded her on October 17, 2013.

She attended the East Randolph United Methodist Church, was a member of the Ladies auxiliary for the former Jamestown Loyal order of the Moose and currently served in the same capacity at the Celoron Moose Lodge. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her grand pups, doing crafts, knitting and sewing.

She is survived by a son; Brian Gregory Conklin and wife Tricia of Lakewood, four grandchildren; Brian D. Conklin and Eric (Karie) Priester of Jamestown and Nathan and Sarah Priester of Lakewood, two siblings, Myrna (the late Richard “Buck”) Young and Roger (Janet) Blood, all of Randolph.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, May 19, 2023 (Friday) from the East Randolph Methodist Church, 122 Church Street, East Randolph. The family will be received one hour prior to the service at 1:00 PM. Her sister, Myrna Young will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the Steamburg Cemetery.
