Leslie Ann Wallen

She was born on December 30, 1956 in Erie PA, the daughter of the late Norbert Wallen and Mary Marrero Wallen.

Leslie was a graduate of Jamestown High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University where she was a member of the ROTC. She was a veteran of the US Army serving 20 years and earning the rank of Major. Prior to retirement she was employed by the Jamestown Department of Public Works.

Leslie had an enduring love of animals and nature and enjoyed spending time at Barcelona Beach and being with family and friends.

Surviving are her wife Sandra J. Churchill her lifelong partner of 37 years and whom she married on October 1, 2011; and six sisters: Dr. Lane Narvaez, Raechel (Gary )Evans, Cathleen (Seth) Beauseigneur, Lisa (Tom) McCaffrey, Amy (Lory) Buccola, Dina (Randy) Eck, and several nieces and nephews.

Leslie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Mark, her sister Michele, and her brother-in-law Octavio.

A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery.
