Nancy L. Peterson, 84, of Lakewood, NY, passed away on March 28, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Gordon R. Peterson; dear mother of Diane (Curt) Simonsen of Orchard Park, NY and the late Susan Peterson; loving grandmother to Lauren Simonsen (Benjamin Hietanen) and Jacob Simonsen of Buffalo, NY.
Nancy was born June 4, 1938, in Jamestown, a daughter of the late Guy Albert and Alice Brink Greene, and was a graduate of Frewsburg High School.
She is predeceased by her two brothers and their wives: William (Kathleen) Greene and Ronald (Judy) Greene.
Nancy worked for many years alongside her husband at Habiterra Architects. She enjoyed gardening, volunteering, sewing, reading, knitting baby blankets to donate; as well as, joining in with bible study groups and singing hymns on Sundays with her friends at Fairway Pointe/Connect 55+.
A Celebration of Life will be held privately on Nancy’s birthday.
