David F. Harvey

Dave was born September 1, 1941, son of Lloyd J. and Arline R. (Beckerink) Harvey in Corry. Pennsylvania. He graduated from Clymer Central School and began his work career. He married Carol A. (McNabb) Harvey on January 5, 1969, He worked as an Operating Engineer until 1973 when he began dairy farming in Clymer, New York. He continued dairy farming until he retired. He loved his time working on the farm. He spent much time going to fairs with Carol to watch horse pulls and tractor pulls. He and Carol loved going on adventures with their dear friends Leonard and Doris Allen.

Dave is survived by 4 children: Mark Harvey, Laurie (Tracy) TeWinkle, Traci Harvey and Carrie Harvey. He is survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Zuella (Penny) Clabbatz, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his parents and his brother Gerald Harvey.

No visitation will be observed. The family will be celebrating Dave’s life at a Memorial Service at the Abbe Church, Clymer, New York on April 29, 2023 beginning at 9am. After the Memorial Service, the family will continue to celebrate Dave’s life by inviting family and friends to Have a Cup of Coffee in Remembrance of Dave Harvey on April 29, 2023 at The Dutch Village Restaurant, from 10am-12pm in Clymer, New York.
