Joseph W. “Joe” Marsh

A lifelong area resident he was born November 18, 1955 in Jamestown, the son of the late Glenn and Dorothy Williamson Marsh.

Joe was a graduate of Randolph High School and began working at age 17 for Falconer Glass Industries until their closing. He began working for Sysco Foods in 1994 and retired in 2020.

Joe enjoyed spending time with his family on the family homestead, driving his Corvette, riding motorcycles, and transporting wood with the Amish community.

Surviving is his two children: Cody Marsh and Hannah Marsh both of Kennedy; a brother Glenn R. (Bonnie) Marsh Jr. of Gerry; three sisters: Caroleen (Scott) Peterson of Jamestown, Charie (Robert) of Falconer, Charmaine (Bradley) Mighells of Randolph and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Charleen Anderson in 1991.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Herdzik pastor of

New Beginning Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Myrtle Cemetery, Clarks Corners, NY.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Thursday in the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Randolph EMS or the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
