David L. Rowley

He was born December 19, 1956 in Jamestown, a son of the late Alan D. “Bud” and Nellie Ann Barrus Rowley.

He attended Frewsburg Central School.

David was a master carver at several local woodworking companies, Ethan Allen, Master Carvers, Carving Masters, and Fancher Chair. He most recently was employed at Phil’s Auto.

Besides his family, his pride and joy was his 1950 GMC truck. He frequently enjoyed good conversation over breakfast at Lori’s Country Kitchen.

David is survived by his son Alan J. Rowley of Jamestown, siblings Alan (Katherine) Rowley, Jr., Loren (Eileen) Rowley of Randolph, Barbara Ingerson of Celoron, Melissa (Paul) Fardink of Kennedy, several nieces and nephews, and his close friend Jerry Subar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy K. Rowley.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Kennedy Fire Hall.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Peterson Funeral Home.
