She was born March 30, 1950 in Salamanaca, NY, the daughter of the late David and Grace

Millward Wakefield.

Cheryl was a 1968 graduate of Falconer High School and prior to retirement was employed by Truck-Lite.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especamping and going to garage sales.

Surviving are two children: Vicki Brandon (David Lesinski) of Grand Island, NY, Jason (Lisa) Haglund of Bemus Point, six grandchildren: Jarod and Claire Brandon, Allison, Brennan, Madelyn and Michael Haglund; three sisters: Susan Caruso of Bemus Point, Judy (Steve) Bryant of Jamestown, Jolynne (Brian) Sprankle of Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Haglund whom she married December 13, 1969 in Falconer, who died October 10, 2022 and her son-in-law Todd Brandon.

Friends will be received by the family from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Falconer Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald Haglund will officiate.

Burial will be in Kennedy Riverside Cemetery on Monday, February 13, 2023 at 10 a.m.
