Luis Rodriguez

Luis was born to his parents Ed and Epifania Rodriguez on October 2, 1982, in El Paso, Texas. His birth was followed by sister Irene Rodriguez Pratt (Paragould, AR) and brother Mike Rodriguez (Wichita, KS).

He went to Andover High School in Andover, KS.

Luis is survived by his father, Ed Rodriguez; his sister, Irene Rodriguez Pratt, and his brother, Mike Rodriguez.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Epifania Rodriguez.

Luis lived in Wichita, KS until he came to Jamestown, NY, in 2015 and stayed here since.

The family and friends are deeply saddened by Luis’s sudden death as he was a good-hearted person. Quiet and loved by many, he had a passion for drawing and sketching. He knew a lot about movies and music. He collected Funko Pops and Comics, and he liked reading books. He definitely had a very particular style in clothes and was always excited to get something new.

He helped a lot of people in the area with gardening, landscaping, and anything that needed to be done in the house.

For the last year, Luis worked in Ashville General Store, NY, and was loved by many customers, his co-workers, and his boss.

The family is taking Luis’s ashes to be buried with his mom in Arkansas.

Instead of the funeral, the family and friends will be hosting a “Celebration of Life” event in Jamestown, NY. The date and time will be announced later
