Judy K. Hall, 72, of Lakewood, passed away Saturday (January 7, 2023) at Hamot Medical Center.
She was born on April 1, 1950 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Feather Hall.
Judy was a 1968 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She was a school secretary starting at Glens Falls Middle School for 10 years. When she moved back to the Jamestown area, she worked for more than 20 years for Bemus Point School District at both the Bemus Elementary and Maple Grove Jr-Sr High School.
Judy was a loving mom and grandma. Nothing made her happier than receiving pictures and spending precious time with her granddaughter Madeline on Tybee Island, GA. She knew every word of the 50's/60's (Motown) music that she loved and always had a great time dancing with her friends. She also had a love of walking and watching Hallmark movies. Judy had great style and loved shopping excursions with her friends and family. She had a special bond with her twin sister, Janice, throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruth Hall as well as her nephew, Jimmy Hall.
Judy is survived by her daughter Courtney (Matt) Snyder of Tybee Island, GA; a brother, Bill (Lucille) Hall of Jamestown; a twin sister, Janice Russell of Lakewood; a granddaughter Madeline Snyder; and three nephews: Steve Russell, Josh Russell (Melissa), and Billy Hall. She's also survived by several great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by the Falconer Funeral Home.
