Gordon Thomas Anderson

Gordon Thomas Anderson, 73, of Sherman, NY, died Friday January 13, 2023 at UPMC Chautauqua in Jamestown. Thomas was born June 3, 1949 in Jamestown, NY, son of Gordon E. and June R. (Carlson) Anderson. He was an avid reader. He enjoyed playing Sudoku and music. A true lover of nature and the outdoors, Thomas especially enjoyed his time spent at Brushwood Folklore Center and Campground in Sherman, where he camped for over 25 years. He work for over 20 years at TitanX in Jamestown, from where he retired. Above all, he loved being a grandfather to his granddaughter Hailey.

Survivors include: his son, Ian Anderson of Clymer; granddaughter, Hailey Ferguson; a sister, Cynthia (Warren) Crouch of Panama; a brother, Karl Anderson of Buffalo and several nieces.

Visitation is Saturday from 10am-12pm at the Spitzer Funeral Home, 135 Miller Street, Sherman, NY.
