Ralph L. Bramble

Ralph was born on March 23, 1935, in Bishops Head, Md., the son of the late Willis and Evelyn Bradford Cannon.

Ralph earned his masters degree at the College of St. Rose in Albany, N.Y.

Ralph was a school teacher in Warrensburg, N.Y., and Hudson Falls, N.Y. He was a former principle at a Christian school. Ralph was an ordained Wesleyan minister for 48 years. He attended New Creation Assembly of God.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Muriel D. Powers Bramble, whom he married on Aug. 21, 2004; his son, Wesley (Debi) Bramble of Pittsburgh, Pa.; his daughter, Rebecca Thompson of Chester, Md.; his sister: Emma (Phil) Bramble of Cambridge, Md.; five grandchildren: Joshua (Melia) Thompson, Lydia Ann Thompson, Sarah (Lawrence) Britt, Tessa Bramble and Tylyn Bramble.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Bramble; and his son-in-law, Joe Thompson.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Powers, Present & Sixbey Funeral Home, Inc., 316 E. Fifth St., Jamestown, N.Y. Burial will be in Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, Md.
